Brian Ritchie

Our very special guest support artist on the night will be shakuhachi master and Violent Femmes founder Brian Tairaku Ritchie. An acknowledged master of the Japanese bamboo flute , Brian will be performing a specially written piece on the night that also incorporates  an historic  composition  that was  written by Nobu Shirase,  the only Japanese explorer to attempt to reach the South Pole as the same time as Admundsen and Scott.

Elyjah McCleod

We are delighted to welcome Elyjah McCleod aboard the Ice Suite to provide some haunting vocal work in the third part- The Passage! He will be singing the lyrics to the song 'Infinity' - a daring move in an orchestral part but we are confident it will be a beautiful and moving addition to the work.Elyjah is currently performing in Melbourne Cabaret - if you are in Melbourne, go see him!

Co.sonance at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Hobart

And from March 2012 if you are in Hobart go and visit the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens where you can hear a sound loop we have  created for the Sub Antarctic Garden room  -only there for the month of March.
